Former Little Horn bassist/ethereal sound generator Neal Williams surprised Keith with some artwork recently.  In Keith’s words: “Its so beautiful I had to share it.  I’m speechless.”

Duchess Leo are playing Party Xpo in Brooklyn on Friday, March 4th with sonic adventurers and spiritual brothers, Andy & Zeus. This is the first show for the band in over six months, and also the first since the release of their record. Party times, excellent. 

We proudly present Duchess Leo’s first performance video, Bloom. Bloom is the second track on Golden Gray and appears here in live and extended form. The video was directed by the head dude hisself, Daniel Bellury. Golden Gray is out now on Whale Heart Records. Bloom  is featured on Just Like Honey’s podcast this weekend along with Cut Copy and Bright Eyes. I had the pleasure of talking with Bertie a little bit about when he met Jeff Buckley. We hope to make it to London soon to meet him and play a show. Check out the podcast HERE!

Little Horn’s new record is currently being mixed by the steady hands of Mr. Daniel Whitt at Metaltern in Athens, Alabama. It’s got a new band, a host of new instruments and more vibe than you can shake a stick at. We’re not talking just yet, but look out for it sometime this spring or summer. :)

Apparently it’s illegal now to drive to work in a forklift with a case of beer.

Pacific Sleepers is more like it. Back in New Paltz for the second weekend of mixing at Marcata with the venerable Kevin McMahon. Three songs done yesterday and three to go today, right on schedule. Album will be out… later. xo 

Up here we don’t know what any of this means, but it looks like trouble. And dammit we want in! Consider us filling water balloons.
