With artists name-checked directly in “Losing My Edge,” they created a music stream that pays tribute to where LCD Soundsystem came from and where the band was first inspired.
Duchess Leo is playing Bruar Falls Saturday, April 9th with Andy & Zeus and Easy Lover. After the cops shut down the last show due to excessive awesomeness, the band are especially pumped. Set times:

Duchess Leo:
Andy & Zeus asked if we would remix their tune, MCMLXXXI Choir. We said “Duh, of course we would” because it’s beautiful. Then we jacked it up and found a few moments you can tap your foot to. We’re playing a show together at Bruar Falls in April where we’ll be shagging for the spring time and honoring the good old days. Click below to discover Andy & Zeus!

Meet ARRANGE. Arrange is artist and blogger, Malcom Lacey and “Turnpike” is the first track we’re hearing of his forthcoming record, Plantation. “Turnpike” combines plaintive pianos, wrenching vocals, samples and vibe in fine measure. Thumbs up. Also recommended is the Quiet State EP which will have you in a thousand yard stare for twenty minutes. Plantation out May 17.

Former Little Horn bassist/ethereal sound generator Neal Williams surprised Keith with some artwork recently. In Keith’s words: “Its so beautiful I had to share it. I’m speechless.”

Source: duchessleoWe proudly present Duchess Leo’s first performance video, Bloom. Bloom is the second track on Golden Gray and appears here in live and extended form. The video was directed by the head dude hisself, Daniel Bellury. Golden Gray is out now on Whale Heart Records. Read an interview with the band on the Village Voice blog about the making of the song.

Little Horn’s new record is currently being mixed by the steady hands of Mr. Daniel Whitt at Metaltern in Athens, Alabama. It’s got a new band, a host of new instruments and more vibe than you can shake a stick at. We’re not talking just yet, but look out for it sometime this spring or summer. :)
